ONE DAY SELECTION PLOUGHING MATCH
A "one day selection ploughing match" was held on Sunday 20th January 2002 at Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This match was for conventional and reversible ploughmen and women who had previously entered to compete in the 51st National Ploughing Championships which was cancelled. The winners of the match were: Stewart Bunting from Norfolk in the reversible section and Adrian Brewer from Cornwall in the conventional section. Both ploughmen will represent England at the 2002 World Ploughing Contest which will be held in Switzerland.
